This is nonsense, but whatever

Lately I've been thinking about the things I did when I was in high school. I pretty much did not enjoy it, to be honest. I know high school isn't just all about the fun, but it's part of it, and I certainly did not have one. If there would ever be a talk about how our high school was spent, you'll definitely find me in a corner - tucking my ears with cotton balls and refusing to speak. It's because I don't have much to share. And with that... I feel like I missed out on a lot of things, a lot of fun. I don't regret it, though.

I wanna have fun right now, the kind that's only acceptable to do if you're in high school. But the thing is, I am not a high school student. Not anymore. In less than two months, I will be freaking 19! I am not allowed to do stupid things without getting slapped or strangled. Or sued.

I told you this was nonsense.

But whatever.

I didn't have fun in high school either...I'm 26 now and I can tell you with full certainty: be glad that the best of your days are up ahead! It was freeing to graduate from high school, I hope it's the same for you!

I agree with you about the days ahead of me. The moment I went to college, it was an entirely different environment. I learned to appreciate everything, especially the people around me, which I did not when I was in high school. "Freeing" is such an appropriate word for me. I'm in my later years of college, and I hope I find more of the feeling of being free. Thank you so much! <3
