Marymount
So the paperworks for the construction of our house has begun. On Sunday, I think we're set to go to the lot to supervise the cutting of this enormous mango tree, which we had to get permit from the municipality of our town even though, technically, the tree is ours. But what the hell. I've been constantly asking my mom about the construction, because I'm really excited. Since we left our old town, we've been jumping to and from renting apartments and living under my granpa's home - our ancestral house. I'm really glad about the progress of this family - well, financially. We're total emotional wrecks. Haha jk. I mean, finally, our own home in a beautiful village. I can't wait to decorate my own room (finally! Even the 5-yr-old me had her own room back then! Now I'm just crashing on a yoga mat in our apartment's living room haha) and start learning to bake since I've been begging my father to buy a decent oven. Haha!
So I guess this is what I would be talking about in the coming months. I've waited for this for so long, but of course, I'm still waiting for the time that it's my OWN home I'm going to decorate. I promise myself I'd get to that point in my life. I've always been fond of browsing through home interiors and little suburban houses with white picket fences situated on tree-lined neighborhoods. So cute.
I'd like to share this milestone with you guys. In 5 or 6 months, I'll be having a 'home' again. See you on my next post! :)
